GReddy R35 DCT Cooler Kit 09-11, 12-on GT-R

Improve DCT Transmission & DCT Fluid Life
The main difference between the 2009-11 and 2012-13 is the front bumper.   To accommodate the change, our DCT Cooler Kit, p/n 12024811 for the 2012-13 GT-R has a revised Air Duct.

GReddy DCT Cooler Kits are ideal for quick DCT fuild warm-up, while maintaining more consistent DCT temps.  This in turn, proves better life for both a modified or a non-modified   DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission)

The kit features our famous Blue (inner-fin) large 13row core mounted in front fender. It also includes a FRP divided air duct, (similar to the OEM unit on the other side of the car,) for maximum cooling.

Installation is easy thanks to specialized GReddy R35 trans oil block. The internal thermostat insures quick fluid warm-up and consistent oil temps, and does not tax the standard coolant system.

Carefully designed light-weight -14 hard-lines & braided-lines allow for a minimal routing lengths and maximum flow. Completing the kit are all the necessary mounts, hose fitting and 3 piece billet flanges with o-rings.

Also updated for both the 2009-11 and 2012-13 GT-R, is our Optional GReddy R35 Window Washer Tank.  This is ideal for keeping your window washer working, with the installation of our DCT Cooler Kit or the XL Typ-29R Front-mounted Intercooler Kit.

Related DCT cooling items for the R35 are our billet DCT Oil Pan and Type RX DCT Fluid

GReddy RX Intake Manifold

A closer look at the GReddy RX Intake Manifold
P/N 113522330 - Now Available in the USA!

GReddy RX Intake Manifold
Engineered to equalize flow and improve efficiency, this precision cast-Aluminum surge tank was designed for maximum performance.  It was developed and manufactured in Japan and has been proven on the track with the 200+mph GReddy 35RX GT-R, well as in the USA with the 8.79sec Quarter-mile SP Engineering / HDM GT-R.

The carefully computer-modeled RX Intake Manifold features a optimized 3-piece design with large 58mm diameter runners (OEM 56mm,) with integral velocity stacks for the center section. It has a symmetrical Left and Right surge tanks that are 85% larger then the factory Nissan VR38 intake manifold.  The improved design routes air-flow more evenly to each cylinder (This is very important when trying to safely extract the most power from a high horsepower application.)

The GReddy RX Intake Manifold is also compatible with both the factory throttle bodies or the new big bore, billet GReddy RX Throttle Kit (coming very soon)

*Throttle body position is not in the factory location, so modified or specialized piping is required

From the Road and Track Blog

via Road and Track Blog:  http://blog.roadandtrack.com/8-second-drag-nissan-gt-r/

"... Despite the strong showing, what’s lesser known is how the record AMS previously set was broken the day prior by another GT-R—one that’s privately owned.

Hing Yim of Las Vegas, Nevada, owns no tuning shop, race team or any other sort of business related to the automotive industry. What he does own is a black 2009 Nissan GT-R and the heart of an enthusiast. He loves speed and his R35 is his passion embodied in four wheels. But when the factory performance of the V-6 VR38DETT engine wasn’t enough, Yim took his car to SP Engineering in Industry, California, to undergo its dramatic transformation. Based just outside of Los Angeles, SP Engineering is a full-service tuning shop infamous for their high-horsepower Supras and Lamborghinis.

At first glance, Yim’s GT-R looks understated. With the exception of the Volk TE37SL wheels (18×9 front, 18×11 rear), drag tires (Mickey Thompson front, M&H rear) and stickers, the Nissan looks near stock. One look under hood however and Greddy’s influence is everywhere. From what’s visible (intake manifold, blow-off valves, intercooler piping) to what’s not (sleeves, TD06SH-20G turbos), much of the engine and turbo components have been swapped for Greddy parts. In the drivetrain, stouter PPG and Dodson gears are employed as is a Dodson clutch and OS Giken differential. For suspension, KW Clubsport coilovers replace the factory units. To make everything work, SP Engineering has handled the brunt of the installation and tuning, with Greddy, KW and Motoiq.com lending a helping hand and wrench.

On March 16, 2012, Hing Yim himself staged the car at a Nevada drag strip. With no parachute or roll cage and a whole lot of horsepower and courage, he lit up the tires running an 8.793 @ 167 mph run, besting the then record of 8.975 sec. held by AMS Performance. While Yim’s glory was shortlived—a day to be exact—he is still more than elated at his GT-R’s performance. After all, bolt back in the passenger seat and some interior carpet and he can cruise the Vegas strip terrorizing sport bikes and super cars alike. But don’t think that means Yim doesn’t have his eyes set on AMS’ record. He’s working with SP Engineering on a new setup to change his status from World’s Quickest Privately-owned GT-R to just the World’s Quickest GT-R."

GReddy GT-R Drag Testing -

Video Update: 3/20

March 16th, the GReddy team heads out to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway to support the 1200whp GReddy built 4.3 engine in SP Engineering GT-R.  Driven by the car's owner, Hing Y., the GT-R blast down the Quarter mile in an amazing, record-breaking 8.793sec at 167.68mph!

The GT-R ran multiple 8sec passes ( 8.83@164, 8.82@165, & 8.79@167 ) and the engine still runs strong at the end of the day.

Hing's GR-8 GT-R is powered by SP Engineering's SPE1000R package with a modified GReddy Twin Turbo Upgrade, GReddy 4.3L Engine, CNC Heads, with GReddy RX Intake Manifold, Throttle Body and Fuel Rails.  As well as a host of other GReddy & Dodson components.  Traction is aided by specially-tuned KW 3-way Club Sports and lightweight Rays TE37 Super Laps.
